$ 2,85 Million for a Framus Guitar

We're thrilled to announce that John Lennon's iconic 1964 Framus 'Help!' Hootenanny acoustic guitar has been sold for a staggering $2.85 million at Julien's Auctions' Music Icons event in NYC! 🎸

Lost for 50 years, this legendary instrument, played by both Lennon and George Harrison, was key in recording hits like "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away," "It's Only Love," and "Help!" Now, it's set a world record as the most expensive Beatle memorabilia!

David Goodman, CEO of Julien's Auctions, shared his excitement: "We're immensely proud to set a new world record with the sale of John Lennon's lost Hootenanny guitar."
