The Koch Twintone Mark III: A True Powerhouse
The new Koch Twintone Mark III has undergone a significant facelift, and the result speaks for itself: a substantial dose of restyling inside and out, without losing the best features of the Twintone I and II. Ideal for the modern guitarist seeking versatility, the Twintone is available in both combo and head variants. You may have already seen the combo on our website, and the version shown here is a head paired with a KCC112 60-watt speaker.
Compact in size and relatively lightweight, this amp may seem unassuming—but don’t be fooled. It packs serious power, ease of use, and versatility that will blow you away! The EL34 Power Tubes deliver 50 watts of power to drive the head, pairing perfectly with Koch extension speakers in various configurations.
While the new facelift brings modern updates, Koch has maintained the open and well-articulated sound of the Twintone I and II. The acclaimed clean channel remains unchanged, offering the crystal-clear, warm, and pure sound you’ve come to expect from previous Twintone models. However, the overdrive channel has been given a new voice, delivering crunch and lead tones with a more complex and richer sound, full of definition and depth. The transition from pristine clean tones to crunch or saturated overdrive with endless sustain has never been smoother!
The ‘Bright Clean’ guitar input of the Twintone III slightly trims the mid-tones for humbucking pickups. This makes the pure tone of the Twintone III accessible for any guitar, no matter which pickups you use! Of course, there’s much more to say about this amp. Its impressive performance in this price range is sure to amaze you, especially when compared to other high-end amps that cost at least double.

KCC112: 90-Watt Speaker Cabinet
The Twintone III can be connected to a variety of speaker cabinets, and we’re happy to discuss the options with you. We’ve chosen the amazing KCC variant. Why? It’s small, compact, lightweight, and delivers incredible sound for home, studio, and stage use.

The Koch KCC112 cabinet offers an impressive low-end punch for its size, thanks to its front-ported, closed-back design and a fantastic-sounding 12" VG12 90 speaker that handles up to 90 watts of power.
This cabinet was designed as an extension speaker cabinet for guitar amplifiers like the Jupiter, Studiotone, and Twintone III combos and heads. You can connect any head or amp to this 1 x 12" cabinet and be blown away by the massive tones it produces. Made from high-quality 11-ply birch plywood with wood-on-wood joints, it enhances tonal quality while offering rock-solid reliability for both touring and studio use. Covered in stylish (and durable) black vinyl, the KCC112 closed-back cabinet complements virtually any setup.
